This is most likely due to the type of charger being used.
You should NOT use any… Fast charge plugs, portable chargers or cigarette lightter adaptors.
If your car has pre-installed USB ports, these are safe to use.
Also a standard phone charger plug is safe to use, regarding it is not fast charge and no more that 10w.\
